Sartolab® P20 Pressure Filter Units
Sartolab® P20 devices are ready-to-use pressure filter units for the clarification and sterile filtration of media and aqueous solutions in batches from 100 mL to 10 L. Sartolab® P20 Plus with an incorporated prefilter is recommended for difficult-to-filter solutions like, for example, media that contains serum. These devices offer:
- Highest flow rates with a large surface of filtration (20 cm²)
- No loss of protein with a low-binding membrane
- Low hold-up volume due to optimized membrane support
- Versions available with a prefilter for high particle load solutions

Sartolab® Multistation – for Parallel Filtration of up to 6 Samples
Sartolab® Multistation is a stand uniquely designed to hold 1 to 6 vacuum filtration units, allowing simultaneous filtration of up to 6 samples. Easily install your vacuum filtration units in the Multistation for quick and easy filtration without the need for installation of extra connectors and time-consuming stabilization of units. Sartolab® Multistation works with all Sartolab® RF|BT vacuum filtration units for the filtration of 50 mL to 1 L.

Sartoclear Dynamics® Lab kits have been designed for harvesting 15 mL to 1 L volumes of cell cultures in the lab. They enable clarification and sterile filtration to be performed in one step. These kits simplify the process by fully eliminating the centrifugation step otherwise needed for clarification. As a result, they enable up to 1 L cell cultures to be efficiently clarified and sterilized in minutes – quickly and easily.

Membrane Chromatography for Protein, Antibody and Virus Purification
Macromolecule purification is critical in many life science workflows. However, resin-based ion exchange or affinity chromatography methods typically require sophisticated equipment and long set-up times, exhibit low flow rates, and suffer from limited yields. Pore sizes of 3 – 5 µm reduce diffusion time to support up to 10x faster purification of even the largest proteins and viruses, and high ligand densities provide maximum dynamic binding capacities (DBCs). Furthermore, low bed volumes and negligible dilution reduce buffer requirements by 75% and ensure low-volume, concentrated eluate fractions.
Available in Vivapure® and Sartobind® Lab devices, these membrane adsorbers provide research and development scientists with purification solutions that are as simple as filtration. What’s more, the same Sartobind® platform is utilized in Sartorius process-scale membrane chromatography products, eliminating uncertainty in the transition from research to production.

Glass & Quartz Microfibre Filters
Depth Filters for Prefiltration, Clarification of liquids and Air Monitoring
Glass & Quartz Microfiber Filters combine fast flow rates with high load capacity and retention of very fine particles. As depth filters, they retain particles on the surface of the filter and trap them in their structure as well.
Glass microfiber filters with binders are recommended for monitoring air and gas or as a prefilter. Binder-free glass microfiber filters have been manufactured for analytical and gravimetric analyses and prefiltration. Quartz microfiber filters are especially suited for emission monitoring at highest temperatures and wherever filters of the highest purity are needed.
